Although we operate a fleet of straight boom excavators, as described above, we still continue to own and operate the standard boom derivatives.
However, these machines have all been extensively modified to cope with the extreme conditions on a demolition site, such as sharp, jagged, heavy and gritty concrete and steel etc. Few things in construction put more strain on equipment than demolishing, moving, sorting, loading and processing demolition debris. Our Standard Boom Demolition Excavators have the muscle and the armour to excel at all stages of demolition. The job should be done properly and more importantly, safely.
All machines have features including frame-mounted falling object guard, side impact protection systems, heavy-duty double-thickness side doors, bucket and boom cylinder guards that shield rods, cylinders and piping. Undercarriage protection including full-length track-chain guards, thick under plating with bolt-head protection, swing-ring guarding and hinged service panels with recessed hinges that won’t snag on debris. Each machine has a proprietary quickhitch system that facilitates the safe switching of demolition attachments such as hammers, shears, pulverisors and selector grabs.
